Hellboy II is based on the comic book series by Mike Mignola. This sequel has everything; it’s funnier than the original (as all good horror movies should be!) and more violent. It’s also a hell of a good time!
In the movie, the cigar-chomping, horny hero is enlisted by an occult scholar (John Hurt) to fight evil. Things get out of hand, however, when a vicious monster is unleashed by the villainous Rasputin (Karl Roden), leading to events that…well..may mean the end of the world. Oh well! It’s fun to watch and worth your time.
