The movie/musical Mamma Mia! is still sitting at the top of the international box office, raking in about $14 million in the past week alone.
The filmed, inspired by Abba, starring Meryl Streep by the side of Pierce Brosnan, is really grabbing the attention of audiences worldwide, making its global revenue to $475 million with $334 million generated outside the USA. Pretty impressive!
In second place for worldwide box office revenue, Angelina Jolie’s action movie Wanted is in second place with $11.6 million, and Ben Stiller’s nutty movie, Tropic Thunder, comes in third place with $8.1 million.
